Bring on the Sunshine!

In one of my recent posts I talked about color and the way it effects your mood.  We are still having cloudy, gloomy and rainy weather here in Hudson, WI.~hence the yellow!
This outfit I wore to church on Sunday!
Carrying my Vintage find handbag.
When time permits, I love going antiquing to see what kind of treasure I can find or make it a contest with my daughter to see who can find the best.
 She usually wins!

A little education to share with you, as this photo reminded me.  When you are short-waisted, as I am, it is best not to wear large thick belts at your waist.  I purchased this belt from Worth years ago and paid quit a bit for it, so I still occasionally wear it.  It would have been better for me to wear a belt that matched the dress and was thinner.
Hope you are having a sunny day wherever you live.  If not, at least wearing sunshine!

color lifters

Hello Everyone!
Are you all having the amount of rain that we are here in Wisconsin?
It is a good thing for the water index but not for the dreariness.
Or, the frizzy hair!  When it is raining, I like to wear brighter colors or more cheery outfits to give myself a lift.  Did you know colors have meaning and can actually influence the way a person feels?
Today, I didn't wear a pink or a yellow but chose this super comfy "Anastasia" dress by kikaPaprika.  I loved the way I felt in it.  I will be ordering it in the pink chevron stripe, I like it that much.
I'm finding the chevron stripe to be very flattering to the body and the attached dropped waist belt is an added bonus.
I look for this dress to be one of my "Best Seller's" this season.
Enjoy the rest of your week!

Bloomin'

Happy Monday!
I am feeling as I should be doing an outfit in green, since everything is finally turning beautiful shades of green.  We have been anxiously awaiting the warmer weather and signs of summer.
Today's outfit is one that I actually photo'd a few weeks back when I was trying on some of the new kikaPaprika pieces.
The kika shirt reminds me of the "blooms" to come.
I am wearing the Kelly jacket in navy by kikaPaprika.

Networking & Etcetera

Happy Wednesday everyone!
As I'm typing this~Yes, it is truly snowing here in Hudson , WI on May 1.
I went to a Women's Networking meeting during lunch, today.
One of the things that the speaker talked about was being grateful.
So, I'm going to be grateful that we are getting precipitation.
This is the outfit that I wore to the meeting.

I talk a lot about detail in clothing and how it just sets certain lines apart from others.  I love the detail in this jacket.  Great buttons & good lines!
Today, I'm wearing a suit from Carlisle (sister company to Etcetera), blouse from Etcetera, shoes are Cole Haan, earrings are custom by Diana Wesbrook (client)
If you appreciate quality clothing, awesome detail and clothing that sets you apart.  I invite you to attend my Etcetera trunk show beginning May 5-15.  Contact me for your personal shopping appt. deb.vogler@baldwin-telecom.net  I think you will love the Spring & Summer line!
