Etcetera navy jacket

This outfit I wore to meet with a gal about the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program. There are things that I have wanted to do or be a part of for quit some time but haven't done anything to make it happen.  Hence the meeting.
As many of you know, I have 2 grandchildren that I am just crazy about.  When I looked at this picture, I instantly thought of Hudson.  We have our living and dining room gated off, so that the dogs can't get to the front door.  Well... Hudson loves to come in these rooms and just look around.  While in the living room he likes to come and get the blue bird that you see on the Bombay chest.  It must be the perfect size for him.
It's hard to make out that it is a bird because the way he put it back.
I'm really into birds, right now.  I'm not exactly sure why because I'm not the outdoor nature type.  I'd rather be hiking the escalator at the mall vs. hiking a path through the woods.  How about you?
Sporting a new haircut and color.
What do your hiking shoes look like?
This outfit consists of~Blouse and Jacket from Etcetera, Pants the Limited, shoes are Stuart Weitzman, scarf from the St. Paul art fair (my friends picked out and I really like it), necklace my boutique, bracelets Michael Kors and Silpada, belt by Etcetera.

Have you ever thought about being a part of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters?
It is a great organization and for a really good cause.

Lily Jacket

The Lily Jacket
by KikaPaprika!
The Lily jacket is a fun jacket with it's animal print and pointed detail in the front.
This jacket comes in 12 colors.  How fun is that?
Reasonably priced at $83
I love having this weight of jacket around to layer with or where over a sleeveless top or dress in the summer when the stores or restaurants are cold.

Have you booked your kikaPaprika appointment or got on line and checked out all the fun pieces for spring & summer?  I will help you get in the pieces that are right for you!

Organizing Oh My!

Spring Cleaning & Organizing!
When the weather starts to break, doesn't it just make you want to clean through everything.  As many of you know, I started 52 weeks of organizing and have tried to stay consistent with it.  It is truly freeing to clean through drawers that haven't been gone through it a long time and get rid of things you just don't use or need.
As I have been going through drawers, cabinets, and so on and so on, I have been looking for ways to organize different items and areas.  Above is the way that I displayed my winters scarves (which I just boxed up and it is snowing-Again)
One of my clients, Lauri, takes silver rings and ties the end of the scarf onto the ring.  She has several and they are grouped by color.  Sorry I don't have that picture.  I would love to know how you organize your scarves and if you have a photo.  Please e-mail me at deb.vogler@baldwin-telecom.net and I can share it with everyone.
I love to wear skirts and even in the winter with tights and boots.  So, I have a collection of tights.  I found this method very organized and easy to find the color I was looking for.
Jewelry, oh Jewelry!  I have to say "I'm a Collector".  I love the costume jewelry, the good stuff and everything in between.  Here is how I display some of my bracelets.  That is a multiple pant hanger that they are on!
You will have to look close at this photo, as I had to take a picture of my I-Pad so that you could see this.  My client & friend Lauri, shared this tank idea with me and it works great.  She folds her tanks and stands them up in the drawer.  Now, you don't have to mess all the ones on the top up as you are digging for a bottom color.
If you have a favorite idea on organizing your clothing or accessories, please share.  I would love to share with everyone else!
Cheers to organizing and decluttering!

Melon time

The new Daphne jacket, named after my kika sister and blogger friend, Daphne from "Fashions Confessions of a Mommy".  If you like to follow blogs, please check out her blog.
I have found the "Daphne" jacket to be flattering on almost all body shapes.
Comes in 12 colors,
Great piece over sleeveless dresses and tops.
Here is a close up of the print on one of kika Paprika's new tops.  What do you think?  I am finding it to pair nicely with a lot of different colors.
Check out the cute back detail of the jacket.
Have you called yet to schedule your personal shopping appointment or a show in your home?
