Etcetera navy jacket

This outfit I wore to meet with a gal about the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program. There are things that I have wanted to do or be a part of for quit some time but haven't done anything to make it happen.  Hence the meeting.
As many of you know, I have 2 grandchildren that I am just crazy about.  When I looked at this picture, I instantly thought of Hudson.  We have our living and dining room gated off, so that the dogs can't get to the front door.  Well... Hudson loves to come in these rooms and just look around.  While in the living room he likes to come and get the blue bird that you see on the Bombay chest.  It must be the perfect size for him.
It's hard to make out that it is a bird because the way he put it back.
I'm really into birds, right now.  I'm not exactly sure why because I'm not the outdoor nature type.  I'd rather be hiking the escalator at the mall vs. hiking a path through the woods.  How about you?
Sporting a new haircut and color.
What do your hiking shoes look like?
This outfit consists of~Blouse and Jacket from Etcetera, Pants the Limited, shoes are Stuart Weitzman, scarf from the St. Paul art fair (my friends picked out and I really like it), necklace my boutique, bracelets Michael Kors and Silpada, belt by Etcetera.

Have you ever thought about being a part of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters?
It is a great organization and for a really good cause.

  1. Love this mustard and navy combo and the tortoise accessories look great with it. So cute about your grandson.
I am a big outdoorsy type which you wouldn't expect but I am. I absolutely love hiking especially in non paved trails and I always insist on what my husband calls 'lead hiker' even though I am horrible with directions. We can't wait our kids are a bit older to endure some long hikes and we can start family weekend hiking outings.
