Cancun Part 2

This post is a little late!
In the earlier post of Cancun, you really got to see the beautiful water and skies.
Have I ever mentioned just how much I love traveling and how I have found a way to travel for less?
If you would like to learn how, send me a personal message.  I love sharing!

I'm going to miss my boy.  Off to college in the fall.
The first outfit is all W by Worth
The dress is by Soma.  The fabric is great for traveling.  You can literally roll it in a ball and it comes out looking nice.

army jacket

When I have talked to you about branding and branding yourself, it is about being your true authentic self.  I have to say, the army jacket is a little off my branding and my true personality.  Sometimes your outfit for the day, may be more like a costume and who and how do you feel that day :)

I am far from an army gal but something spoke to me when I purchased this jacket.  It may be the strong trend that was pulling me.

Purple with Pride

 Hello Tuesday to all!
well it was Tuesday when I created this post and nice out.
Today it is Thursday and cold & raining.

It is a windy but beautiful day in Wisconsin.
Hope the weather where you live is the same.
I am happy to share this close up, as I am loving the results of Jeunesse Global products.
It is an anti-aging company with skincare that delivers results through Human Growth Hormones.
It also focuses on aging for the inside with a product called Infiniti.

Purple boots

Hello everyone!
Back to a fashion post.
I'm curious if the last post got you thinking about your closet.
As I mentioned in my prior post, I have represented a few clothing lines.
Today, I am wearing a line called Kokoon, they are based right here in the Minneapolis area.
Laine Sou, the owner/designer is a very creative and super sweet person.
I especially like the way that she used 2 types of fabric on the jacket.  Both fabrics are super comfortable and have a nice flow.  I paired the jacket with one of their tops that is not an exact color but  is in the same tones.
Where did I go with this outfit from there?  To my scarf rack.
The scarf I choose has the color of the jacket in it.
Then, I added the Boots!

How I track my clothing.

For several years now, I have been in the clothing industry.
I've owned a women's boutique and have sold a few women's clothing lines,
and still sell Etcetera for women and JHilburn for men.
(now, along with an amazing anti-aging line called Jeunesse, tab on the right)
Over the years, I have gotten a nice collection of clothing.
So much, that I have 2 separate closets.  1 for summer & 1 for winter.
Who can relate?
Over a year ago, I decided that I was going to track what I wear where.
So, I created these little circles on my Cricut to do just that.
Well....this also showed me what I was wearing and what I was not.  Great visual ladies & men.
After last summer (which was very short) here in Wisconsin, I was able to notice that there were
several dresses, skirts & more that I didn't even put on.
That then prompted my New Year's Resolution for not buying summer clothing from January to June.  If I can resist, not buying any summer clothing, it would not be a bad idea for me this year.
Thankfully, I have not been excited about all the busy florals in the stores.
You are probably wondering about the circles.
I came up with colors that represent the different things that I do,
such as attend church, Rotary, or just wear on an ordinary day.  You could have a different color for each organization, etc that you attend.  I then simply just put the circle over the hanger of the item that I wear wherever.
It has been such a good visual for me.  After you realize that you are not wearing several items, it is easier to pass them on to someone else.
Do you track what you wear?  How do you decide what to get rid of?

Denim on Denim

Hello Everyone!  Hope your Tuesday has been a great one.

Today was a double denim day.  Do you wear denim on top and the bottom?
How do you feel about it?  With these pieces both being dark and separated by the sweater,
I was OK with it.
The windows in my home are giving me a natural glow.
It will be nice to be able to photo outside again.
Here in Wisconsin, we are still having cool days.

Blues

Happy Tuesday!
Hope your week is off to a great start.
My outfit today was inspired by a blog done by Atlantic-Pacific.
She is a blogger that I follow daily.
If you get tired of the clothing that is in your closet,
visit the different blogger websites or go to Pinterest for inspiration.
It is amazing how your clothing will feel new again.

Back in Black

Back in Black!
It has been a while since I have posted, so I thought the title fit perfect.

I had a lunch date today with a friend, celebrating turning 50 yesterday!

I tried to zoom in close on this shot.  I have joined a new company called Jeunesse.  It is an anti-aging company that is not only for the outside but inside.  I'm totally excited about the company.  After only 3 weeks of using the Y.E.S (Youth Enhancing System), I have more energy (inside) and my skin feels amazing (outside).  The company has a product called Instantly Ageless, works like Botox in less than 2 minutes.
