My boy

Hello from Cabo!
This blog was from spring break back in March.
I have posted with photos of my daughter, Danielle.  Talked about my daughter, Brooke but never really talked about my son.
Parker is my youngest and will be 17, soon.  He loves sports (basketball, football and track).  I truly enjoy going to watch him compete in all the sports, with the exception of football.  It is just not my favorite sport.  I was not a track fan until he started competing and now, I love it.  He can high jump at 6'2" as a sophomore.  He also triple jumps and runs the 400.

The dress that I am wearing is from Soma.  It is great for travel, as you can roll it up and comes out of the suitcase~wrinkle free!
This photo was taken at "Sunset Mona Lisa" restaurant.  At this restaurant you can watch the sunset go down and they blow a horn, as it does.  Beautiful.

Feelin Blue~No!

It has been a little while since I have blogged.
Hope you enjoy this post.
The top that I am wearing is actually vintage and I got at an Estate Sale free.
The lady must have been a seamstress, as it was handmade.
I purchased 3 mink wraps and 2 vintage coats that day.  Plus, got 3 shirts Free-So Fun!

Tuxedo "Girls Style"

Last month, I had the opportunity to attend the
St. Pat's Gala.  It was a large fundraiser to support their Catholic School.
I do not attend the Catholic church but knew friends going and I wanted to see how they ran their gala for ideas for the Rotary Gala.
It was a great time and many generous parents, grandparents, etc. attended.
It had to have been a huge success.
I had never wore this women's version of a tux and felt this was my opportune chance.  My daughter, Brooke who is the makeup artist, dolled me all up.  She put false eyelashes on me and added the extensions to my hair.  It added a little extra fun and glam to the night.

One last picture before we left!

Etcetera peach jacket

Hello Spring!
It was sure a long winter here in Hudson, WI.  Hence, one of the reasons I haven't been so regular with my blog posts.  Having photos taken out in the cold and wind was just too hard to do and I get a lot of glare in the photos taken in my home.

Have a fabulous weekend,  Debbie

Notable

Giving Thanks!

This week I have spent quit a bit of time at this spot in my home.  I have had lots of Thank You's to write after the Rotary Gala.  I love going into the Living Room, as it is almost like being away from home. (the kitchen is full of too much hustle & bustle)
I have a collection of stationary and it is fun for me to pick out which note card I'm sending to whom.  The "V" in the background were cards handmade by my daughter in her graphic design class.  She gave them to me for Christmas, along with the stamp she handmade.

You can notice all of the natural light shining in the room.  That is another one of my reasons for loving this room.

Accessories

Part of my collection!
This is one of my newest additions.  I love the brand Papyrus!
A closer look at the cards Danielle made for me!

Tip:  I just returned from a certification program in etiquette and learned that a Thank You note consists of 4 lines (the 1,2,4 relate to the event or gift, the 3 unrelated).
